Tycho will present the 33rd edition of "Back To Mine" compilation

Renowned electronic music producer joins the ranks of the distinguished compilation

Live electronic music is gaining momentum every year, with DJs moving into this format or emerging artists enjoying performing this type of show. But all this would not be possible without the pioneers who are now a point of inspiration. One of them: Scott Hansen.

After the release of his album “Dive” in 2011, the world has met one of the most prolific producers to date. With all the experience, talent and knowledge of the scene, Tycho will present the 33rd edition of the renowned compilation “Back To Mine”.

“Back To Mine” is a series of mixed compilations made by the most respected producers of the scene and managed by Disco Mix Club, a label intended only for professional DJs and enthusiasts. Its concept is based on those tracks that you would play at home after a night out. The subtitle by which you will always distinguish it is “A personal collection to enjoy after hours”.

The first volume was released in February 1999 by Nick Warren and has 32 editions to date. The last one arrived at the beginning of this year by Horse Meat Disco and now, Tycho joins the distinguished list and be the N°33 of the compilation. Some other artists who had the opportunity to make their own series are Faithless, Orbital, Tricky, Carl Cox, Nightmares on Wax and Fatboy Slim. Yes, just names with permanent dye.

Some of the surprises Scott brings us for this compilation is his unreleased remix of Little Dragon’s track Little Man or a live mix of the track ‘PBS’ that has been extracted for the official presentation. The release date for the complete series will be September 30. Regarding this release, Tycho commented the following:

“When I first got into electronic music, compilations and DJ sets played a huge role in introducing me to new artists and finding music that inspired me. Back To Mine is a compilation series that is famous for its diverse collections and has featured some of my favorite artists.”
