The lead single from the EP has been played on Tale of Us’ live set for Afterlife UNITY in 2020

Following the acclaimed release of his “Ghasia” EP in 2021 which also featured strong support from John Digweed during his concerts that year in Mexico and South America, Milan-born producer SOEL returns to Bedrocks with the Shadows That We Cast EP.
Opening the two-part EP with the soulful lead track ‘Shadows That We Cast’, the producer who has released on labels such as Afterlife, Siamese, Plangent and Oddity, among others, makes his intentions known from the outset by delivering a uniquely dynamic offering, chopped up by piercing synths, undulating kicks and mind-altering trippy samples.
Next, the New York-based producer delivers a more melodic follow-up to the tension-filled opener with ‘Running On The Moon’, as harmonic synths and expertly manipulated vocal drops provide the backbone of another exquisite, multi-textured cut from the in-form producer.
Behind ‘Shadows That We Cast‘ EP
SOEL started composing music as a teenager. Early on his productions were used by fashion designers in their shows and played by some of the most recognized DJs such as Solomun, Hernan Cattáneo, John Digweed, Tale of Us, Carl Cox, Dixon, Adriatique, Chris Liebing, Stephan Bodzin, Rodhad, and more.
Over the last decade, the artist has refined his unique sound. One that includes a blend of deeply emotional atmospheric techno sounds, mixed with dark synths, cavernous drones and sharp percussion.
In 2020 he opened his own electronic label, ORACOLO Records which focuses on dark, atmospheric techno and cinematic ambient. Get your copy of the EP on Beatport.
