Diode Eins, Namatjira and PARAFRAME are part of the long awaited compilation
Shortly after the arrival of Fragments XII a few weeks ago, Nora En Pure’s Purified Records celebrates the release of the long-awaited “Fragments XIII” EP. The final selection of melodic and deep sounds from 2022 reveals a three-track compilation by German group Diode Eins, Namatjira and PARAFRAME. The EP is available now on all streaming platforms. Diode Eins makes his label debut with the instrumental cut ‘Wind’ which floats through a laid back arrangement where they combine undulating synths, random percussion and bold instrumentals to enter a mystical realm. Establishing her comeback, Namatjira teams up with Jelle van Leeuwen for the delicate and blissful offering, ‘Reminiscent’, where they showcase instrumental arrangement with a timeless feel. Frankfurt artist PARAFRAME closes the EP with ‘Euphoria’ where he builds a hypnotic soundscape with choppy notes and raw bass.
Diode Eins
In January 2019 three school friends from Neuss, Germany decided to follow their shared passion for electronic music and founded Diode Eins. Originally focusing on drum ‘n’ bass, Jannis, Julien and Jerome later discovered their passion for techno in all its forms. For the trio, the musical creative process has the character of a spiritual practice and is dedicated to connecting people through feelings.
Whether in the studio or on the dance floor, it’s all about evoking something in the listener and creating that indescribable energy that we love so much about dance music. To achieve this, they are always exploring different sound worlds and their goal is to offer something new and unknown, not only in their tracks, but also in their energetic performances.
Namatjira
In the mind of Dutch producer Joost van der Vleuten there are no limits. Over the last decade he has released under multiple names and explored many different styles in the electronic dance music scene. After many successful trance projects and releases, deep, warm beats and tangled melodies attracted him and he settled down, thus creating Namatjira.
With singles such as ‘1000 Of Years Ago’, ‘Road To Nothing’ and ‘Late At Night’, his sound was widely recognized and garnered support from the likes of Hernan Cattaneo, Sasha and John Digweed, to name a few. With releases on some of the genre’s most sought after labels, as well as highly successful collaborations and official remixes, his impressive legacy continues to grow.
PARAFRAME
Frankfurt-based creative PARAFRAME breaks away from the crowd by combining sound and visuals in fascinating ways. The composer and filmmaker approaches his craft through a unique lens, and musically skates around the periphery of a multitude of styles, never landing on one enough to be classified by it.
His latest album, “Exhale,” demonstrates his ability to capture diverse audiences, from the easy listener to the dancefloor lover. The album was also released with an impressive hour-long live show, in which he invites his collaborating singers on stage as holograms.
