Behind “Hold The Night” EP
First comes ‘Hold The Night’ where he overlays intricate drum beats with sweeping chords and an uninterrupted synth refrain. On the other side, and using exactly the same parts as the opener, ‘Hold The Day’ explores a more dreamlike dynamic as ethereal melodies unfold.
Entering the second half of the EP, ‘Slide’ offers a deep, melodic slice with arpeggiated riffs and textural percussion. Finally, Antdot & Albuquerque take us home with their own edition of ‘Hold The Night’ that brims with midnight cosmic energy and perfectly executed chord progressions.
Stretching the record in all directions with their expert manipulation of luscious pads and organic drum patterns, the two artists pull out all the stops to close out another emphatic release on Warung. Purchase your copy of the EP on Beatport.
