Prolific Argentine producer returns to FORM to score a hat-trick and close out 2022 in style
After an incredible label debut alongside The Reactivitz with “Back To The Groove” EP in September, Argentine DJ, producer and sound engineer Mauro Somm makes his long-awaited return to POPOF’s FORM Music label, with the three-track EP “Hexagon”.

Behind ‘Hexagon’ EP
He opens the triple pack with the effervescent single ‘Hexagon’ where he makes his intentions known by offering a heady amalgam of kicks, vox samples and exquisitely layered percussion.
He maintains the precision on the second piece titled ‘Mobius Strip’. Piercing synths, analog basses and intricate drum patterns shine in the foreground, while Mauro’s uncompromising soundscapes serve as the backdrop to another stunning original production.
Rounding out the release is the closing track ‘Acid State’. Mauro’s epic closer does exactly what it says on the tin, as crushing bass and dark industrial samples combine in perfect accord to close out another impressive EP on the POPOF imprint.
