Also, they present the name of their second single under the alias Kx5
Last March 11th, the electronic scene exploded with the release of “Escape”, the second collaboration and second anthem of the scene created by two industry references. Months later and after making it one of the most sold and played tracks worldwide, deadmau5 and kaskade have just announced the release of their debut album under the alias Kx5. They also present the name of their second single.
After 14 years, Joel Zimmerman and Ryan Raddon got together again and squeezed all their musical creativity into a new single. After releasing ‘I Remember’ in 2008 and ‘Escape’ with Hayla in March of this year, the duo seeks to go further with a proposal that breaks all barriers: a full album under the alias of both, Kx5. According to the press release we received, neither the name nor the release date has been confirmed yet, but it will be released in 2023.
We can tempt the name and like many other cases these days, the LP can simply be titled Kx5 or Escape. What do you think the duo’s long-awaited compilation will be called?
The arrival of a new track
Kx5’s second track is titled “Take Me High” and will be officially released on Friday, September 16. The short excerpt released reveals an instrumental track but it is only speculation. Also, no additional vocal collaboration is named. So we won’t know the official proposal until the day of its release.
deadmau5 and Kaskade never stop making history as Kx5. Their set at EDC Las Vegas has been one of the most played on Apple Music. “Escape” has to date over 35 million plays on Spotify alone and has been the most played album of the year on Dance Radio.
In addition, they will make history by bringing their own show to the Memorial Coliseum in Los Angeles on December 10. Get all the information about it here.
