Dutch legend puts a twist on Nicky Elisabeth’s first launch at the label
Released in May, Nicky Elisabeth’s “Fading” showcased her softer side, with her airy vocals perfectly complementing her tight and polished production. Now, one of Holland’s finest exports, Joris Voorn, takes the track to the dancefloor adding his signature upbeat energy by remixing the single within Anjunadeep.
The remix has already received a warm reception from fans when Joris included it in his performances at Canada’s Electric Island festival and Tomorrowland’s Freedom stage.
Emerging talent and industry figurehead
After a residency at Amsterdam’s De Marktkantine and an appearance at London’s iconic Fabric club, Nicky Elisabeth has performed at major summer festivals such as Awakenings, DGTL and Tomorrowland. It doesn’t look like she’s slowing down and, this fall, she’ll be on the bill for Anjunadeep label shows at Amsterdam’s Paradiso and Berlin’s Watergate.
Joris Voorn, for his part, continues to remain as headliner of the most recognized clubs and festivals in the world. The Spectrum boss has been a key player at Pacha and UshuaÏa this summer in Ibiza. He was part of the Awakenings events and will headline his own lineup in October for Awakenings at ADE. Loveland, We Can Dance, Tomorrowland or Elrow are some of the other stops where the Dutchman added his respected presence in 2022.
