Prolific french producer lands on Embassy One to put a masterful spin on the Danish band’s original track
Following the international release of their seventh studio album “UUUU” in May and an intense tour that has taken them to perform at some of the most prestigious parties and festivals in Europe and North America, the Danish group WhoMadeWho has just recruited Jennifer Cardini to remix their single “Everyday”. A piece that they originally created together with Rampa and that Jennifer, gives it a new meaning.
After more than two decades building an enviable reputation that began in the clubs of Paris, Cardini has become an international icon. Her infectious charisma and versatility behind the decks have led her to be invited to play at famous nightspots such as Panorama Bar, Nitsa, Fabric and release pieces on labels such as Correspondent and Dischi Autunno.
Behind ‘The Masterful’ Remix
Cardini’s remix, out now via Berlin-based label Embassy One, sees the iconic French producer deliver an absorbing interpretation of WhoMadeWho and Rampa‘s introspective original. Bringing a dynamic groove and eclectic sonic palette to Tomas Høffding’s sensual top line.
The remix flows with remarkable delicacy throughout its seven-minute duration and becomes an avant-garde, almost cosmic dimension, as the Berlin-based artist conjures an extraordinary sonic performance that falls somewhere between contemplative melancholy and magnetic euphoria.
