Gorgon City opens a new chapter with "Voodoo"

After taking complete control of the electronic scene with “Olympia” at the end of 2021 and all of last year, Gorgon City open new chapter with “Voodoo”, now available on all streaming platforms.

Released through their own label, REALM Records, the British duo have announced that the single is the first of many releases during the year ahead of the arrival of their as-yet-unconfirmed fourth studio album.

2023 will be a year of great moments for the duo, not only because of those mentioned above but also because they will have their residency for the second consecutive year at Amnesia Ibiza and will perform at iconic venues such as Red Rocks, Tomorrowland, Creamfields, and Lollapalooza.

Behind ‘Voodoo’

The single moves away from the tech house and house sound characteristic of the British, and sticks firmly to the breaks that are strongly hitting the electronic scene in the UK.

Possibly inspired by what Fred again…, Icarus or Interplanetary Criminal, to name just a few, “Voodoo” navigates through fast breaks under a wonderful melodic atmosphere and a voice that repeats “I’ve never felt anything like this / Something just happened to me”.

Together with Sonny Fodera and Danny Howard, Gorgon City will have their residency at Amnesia every Monday from September 19th to 25th. Get ready for a summer with the best and newest house music with its award-winning and recognized exponents. Book your ticket from this link.
