A dream collaboration by two leading industry duos
Following the release of their recent album “The Silence in Between”, GRAMMY award-winning duo Bob Moses have just teamed up with Kasablanca to release the track “Afterglow”. The single also features cinematography by Black Lake (Bassnectar, Khalid).
This track follows other recent releases such as “Love Brand New” which was remixed by Vintage Culture and “Why Can’t You Wait” which they worked on with The Chainsmokers. Regarding “Afterglow”, the single is indicative of the creative connection between two outstanding duos in the electronic scene. As a result, they deliver an ethereal song ready to take the dancefloors by storm.
Behind ‘Afterglow’
Industry approvals were not long in coming. Billboard for example commented the following: “The Nine-Inch Nails-influenced single is a slow, dark, and haunting build that vibrates with moody lust, growls powerful riffs, and showcases a heavier sound for the duo.”
Bob Moses commented on the matter:
“A few months ago, we got together with the guys from Kasablanca in our studio in Los Angeles. We had just finished ‘The Silence in Between’ and had no plans to go back and finish new music so quickly. It was a very creative couple of days and the end result was ‘Afterglow’. We’ve been testing it out in our club sets for the last month with great reactions and we’re excited to get it out into the world.”
