Renowned producers aligned to the new rave/art exhibition concept, SORA
Leaving everything ready for one of its first events for next year, Audio Obscura announces the first lineup for the launch of the SORA show at Gashouder. The event will take place next Saturday, January 28th. The event is also a collaboration with Unfold.art and the Westergas Cultural District where the magic of audiovisual art will break the limits of any immersive journey.
SORA is a stunning kinetic light installation that will occupy the iconic Gashouder during a residency of exhibitions, live performances, and a rave in early 2023. The lineup will feature the likes of Adriatique, the Swiss duo who have long collaborated with Audio Obscura and will work with SORA creators NONOTAK to deliver a once-in-a-lifetime show, Henrik Schwarz, Nadia Struiwigh, and other producers to be announced.
An immersive experience
Unfold.art‘s goal is to make immersive art accessible to all by presenting large-scale experiences in collaboration with the most innovative artists from the world of contemporary art, media, technology and sound. These impressive projects will tour black boxes around the world and can be experienced in three formats: exhibitions, live shows, and a rave.
These different formats make art accessible to a global and universal audience: from young children to their grandparents, from live music enthusiasts to art critics, and from yogis to clubbers. Now, they will all come together under Audio Obscura, which, since its first event in 2013, is one of the most cutting-edge underground music platforms.

Anyone who witnessed Peggy Gou’s incredible set at the previous collab between Audio Obscura and Westergas in early 2020, the forerunner to Unfold.art, will know that this is a show that is simply not to be missed. It will push the boundaries of what we know as an electronic music event like you have never seen and experienced before.
